When social networks began to become fashionable, I must say that I looked the other way: I was not convinced by socializing with the screen in front of me. I am a skeptic by nature, so I did not create an account on any social network in the early days. Much later I opened one on Facebook just to be in contact with some people who live far away but it was not until Instagram appeared that I really saw the possibilities that networks had. I have to admit I was hooked.

I really like photography and started uploading a lot of content. And once the likes and followers arrive, they encourage you to continue uploading things. We all have our little hearts and we like to like them, worth the redundancy. But, in addition, this social network has helped me to develop another of my passions, which is complemented by photography: fashion. I started following some influencers who give me a lot of ideas. It is true that what they show is only a small part of their lives, but we are adults, we must understand that the life of Instagram is not real life … but it is entertaining.

For example, I recently saw that a girl I follow was wearing super nice sneakers in a photo. Next to the photo it put the vegan footwear tag, but, unlike in other photos, it did not put the brand of these. And I started searching the internet to see what shoes they were. I even sent him a private message asking: but I suppose he will receive so many messages that he has not answered me yet …

The ‘problem’ with vegan footwear is that there are more and more so it was not easy to find the design by searching the internet, but, finally, I found it. It is a small firm but one that is becoming fashionable for two reasons: because the entire manufacturing process of the product is respectful with the environment, but also because of its striking designs. Instagram is good for things of this kind: it raises your self-esteem, it is a gigantic fashion magazine and a good way to entertain yourself, especially when you are not an influencer and you do not have to work day after day to maintain a reputation.
